The South’s Best Blue Jeans

There are a handful of folks who produce great jeans throughout the south. Southern Living named 5 companies as The South’s Best Blue Jeans and we are honored and downright giddy to be on the list with other fabulous southern designers.

It all started with breaking a tradition. Seersucker is traditionally not supposed to be worn after Labor Day and is a light-weight material, which made it a fun fabric to work with. It was hard to resist to not make it a unique, heavier weight, 10 ounce seersucker, so people could enjoy wearing the jeans year-round. People need a look of the south during cold days to be reminded of those warm summer months. Suckers wick moisture away, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Besides the fabric, Suckers are designed to fit and designed to flatter. Every detail and stitch was done with you in mind so you can feel comfortable, yet sexy in jeans. People can dress the nines, go skateboarding, or even do yoga in Suckers like we’ve been told. They basically become your new best friend. Each pair has a tilted rise to hide your plumber’s butt, tilted pockets to give your butt natural shape, and higher knee breaks so your legs appear longer. But it’s best to wear Suckers and see how seersucker and denim live in holy matrimony on your body.

So now you know you Sucker a little better, be sure to pick up a copy of the January 2011 issue of Southern Living Magazine and flip to page 100!
