That’s How We Spring
Even though it was a tid bit nippy outside to feel like spring, we had a great time celebrating our spring launch collection with the help of our sponsors, Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, Charleston Cookie Company, Ketel One, and of course, the fabulous attendees that make Charleston so awesome. We are happy to report, the spring Suckers were a hit and lots left happy toting their new pair(s)!
The Ketel One martinis were delicious, even though towards the end of the night we started experimenting with different recipes, but no one seemed to mind. As for the food, of course it was amazing with a delicious selection of sushi and appetizers from Oak and O-Ku. Luckily, there weren’t any chopstick fights. Once people moved onto desert provided by Charleston Cookie Company, it’s safe to say some turned into the cookie monster, myself included.

Firefly Skinny Tea + Skinny Jeans
No, this is not a dream. On March 1, Firefly vodka unleashed the fury, better known as their new Skinny Tea with only 72 calories. We love Firefly and now we’re really anxious for summer to kick in gear so we can pour ourself a cocktail and sit on the porch after a day at the beach. But before that even happens, we are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Firefly and have an upcoming cross promotion sometime in April with our skinny jeans and their skinny tea. I can’t spoil it all, but we will be giving away a pair of skinny jeans. So stay tuned for more details here or on our Facebook page so you don’t miss out!
Ketel One Vodka + Sucker Jeans Spring Launch Party
Hey Charleston! Join Sucker Jeans and Ketel One Vodka Thursday, March 10 from 5:00pm-10:00pm for our Spring Launch Party!
To make it easy, we developed a to-do list for attendees. These are not mandatory, just suggestive:
- See, feel, and try on our spring Suckers.
- Have a couple Ketel One martinis on us. But remember, martinis are like breasts. One’s not enough and three is too many.
- Buy a pair or 2 or 3 of Suckers. Or tell someone to buy you a pair.
- Dance while DJ Danny Seltzer kicks out some tunes.
- Munch on some Hors D’oeuvres. Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, and Charleston Cookie Company will be providing delicious nibbles throughout the evening. If there are some leftover, we’ll even let you take some home.
- Most of all, just come have fun with us and celebrate spring in the south!

Right now, we are at the Dallas Apparel and Accessories Market until January 30 showing buyers the new spring Suckers. Needless to say, they are seeing, feeling, and loving them. How could they not? Look how cute they are, all lined up and ready to be bought. We couldn’t be happier and look forward to a great year with everyone!
And the Best Sucker Butt 2010 winner is…
Many spanks and congratulations to Rick T. and Paula T. for entering and winning our Sucker Butt Contest with the most likes on their photograph! They will receive a free pair of Suckers from our spring collection when it launches in February with their choice of style, color, and size. We can’t wait to see his butt or his wife’s butt in the pair they choose.
We also want to thank the other fabulous people who submitted their pictures. As you can see, they were looking pretty fine from behind.
The South’s Best Blue Jeans
There are a handful of folks who produce great jeans throughout the south. Southern Living named 5 companies as The South’s Best Blue Jeans and we are honored and downright giddy to be on the list with other fabulous southern designers.
It all started with breaking a tradition. Seersucker is traditionally not supposed to be worn after Labor Day and is a light-weight material, which made it a fun fabric to work with. It was hard to resist to not make it a unique, heavier weight, 10 ounce seersucker, so people could enjoy wearing the jeans year-round. We’re so excited, we just can’t hide it. Southern Living has named us “The South’s Best Jeans” in the January 2011 issue! We don’t have the link to the article just yet, so these will have to do until we get it. So stay tuned for more. But we are thrilled and honored and look forward to a great year ahead. Best Sucker Butt 2010
We love all butts. Small. Big. Round. Flat. Perky. Plus, they all look good in Suckers. So without further ado, we’re on the hunt for the best Sucker butt of 2010. Upload a picture of your butt in Suckers to our Facebook page and the photo with the most likes and comments wins. The winner will be the first to receive a free pair of Suckers from our new spring collection. You don’t have to own Suckers to participate, because it gives us a chance to put you in them. So here’s what you need to do to enter to win:
1. Turn around and hire a friend for free to take a picture of your butt (no nude shots please) and post it to our Facebook page or email tara@suckerjeans.com and we’ll post it for you.
2. Tag Sucker Jeans on Facebook and/or mention @SuckerJeans on Twitter and ask your friends and family to vote by liking or commenting on your picture on our Facebook page.
3. Whoever has the most likes/comments on their picture by 11:59pm EST, January 1, 2011 wins!
